Hamilton Township owns a cemetery located on Hoover Avenue, one fourth mile North of Cranberry Lake Road on the East side of the road. There are two sections to this cemetery. The original section is aside Hoover Avenue and there are many lots still available for in this section. In early 2012, an additional approximately two acres was purchased directly behind the original section. This is for expansion and will satisfy needs for many years. This parcel has been excavated and was seeded in 2012. Lots will be sold from the original section prior to the new section. Contact the Township Clerk, who maintains a map of the plots and can assist with availability and plot locations or answer questions regarding existing plots.
Hamilton Township also owns property located on North Rodgers Road, just South of Stockwell Road. The property includes the Mennonite Church of Christ building that is no longer used and a small cemetery. Many local residents have loved ones buried in this cemetery. Availability in this cemetery is limited.

Road side trash and recycling pick up:
Hamilton Township has road side trash pick up and road side recycling pick up.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH OR RECYCLING AT THE TOWNSHIP HALL!!
Republic Services picks up rubbish each Wednesday and Recycling every other Wednesday. It is best to put rubbish and recycling carts at the roadside, the night before to avoid being missed. One large item is allowed per week. No need to call, simply place the item next to the rubbish cart.
