The Township Board appoints Board of Review members and the Supervisor is secretary to the the Board of Review. Meetings are held throughout the year to validate the tax roll and give taxpayers the opportunity to appeal classifications, exemptions and values. The first meeting of a fiscal year requires 10 days advance notice posting. Thereafter, 18 hours notice is required. This meeting is open to the public.

MARCH 2022 BOARD OF REVIEW WILL MEET AS FOLLOWS;

March 14th     3:00 pm – 9:00 pm

March 17th    9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Organizational meeting will be held on March 8th, 2022 at 6 pm.  Appeals will be held on March 14th 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm and March 17th 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.  Appeals can be made by letter, phone appointment or in-person appointment.  Written appeals must be received by March 7, 2022.  Mail to Hamilton Township BOR, 3042 N. Rodgers, Harrison, MI 48625 or left in the drop box, just to the right of the front door at the hall.  Phone and in-person appointments can be made by contacting David Wright at 989-329-9711.  Please leave a clear message including your name and phone number.  Appointment times will only be available on March 14th 3pm-9pm and March 17th 9am – 3pm.  If you schedule a phone appointment, we will contact you at your appointment time.
