Thank you to all who helped make the August election go smoothly! You may receive numerous Absentee Ballot request forms in the mail from different parties and organizations for the November election, however only one request is needed. Many people filled out request forms for both the August and November election and will not need to do an additional request. Ballots MUST be requested in writing, if you do not receive an application in the mail you can download one at the following website or pick one up at the Township Hall or County Clerks Office.
If you do not have a form you may still request an absentee ballot by writing a short letter. Please include; your name, date of birth, local address, phone number and the address you want the ballot mailed to if different from your local address. The letter or application MUST be signed.
You may mail the letter/application to Hamilton Twp.Clerk, 3042 N. Rodgers, Harrison, MI 48625. You can also fax it to 989-539-3950 or place it in the drop box to the right of the door at the hall. If you have any questions you may call Finette LaBoda at
989-539-6975 and I will be happy to help you.
COVID-19 TRASH AND RECYCLING UPDATE
PLEASE place all trash in container. To keep everyone safe drivers will not be getting out of the trucks to pick up extras. They will ONLY be emptying the bins from inside the trucks. There will be NO large item pickups until further notice. At this time trash and recycles will still be picked up. PLEASE do your part so this service can continue.
Road side recycling pick up:
Hamilton Township has road side trash pick up and road side recycling pick up. There will no longer be containers to leave either trash or recycling at the hall.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH OR RECYCLING
AT THE TOWNSHIP HALL!!
The township works hard to promote cleanliness throughout the township and trash and recycling left at the hall causes litter to blow across the road and field. If you do not have a trash or recycle container please call 989-329-9711 and one will be provided. Thank-you for your cooperation!
